Unloader/Order Picker

Berk Enterprises, Inc is looking for a reliable order picker/unloader. This position will begin as an unloader and gradually shift to a picking position.  We offer a vast line of products in the foodservice and janitorial categories and serve a wide range of customers. Applicants should have some prior experience in a warehouse setting, but it is not required. This is a full-time, hourly position. Pre-employment screening required, including drug test and background check.

Warehouse Order Coordinator

Candidate must be able to function effectively in a fast pace environment.

Order Manager responsibilities will include, but not limited to: organizing and prioritizing work orders, assigning work orders to ensure timely completion, identifying and correcting issues, accurate money handling, and taking initiative to identify opportunities to improve efficiency.

Order Manager must be able communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, management, customers, and team members in other departments within the company.

Global Transportation/Logistics Manager

Berk Enterprises, Inc. is looking for a Logistics Manager. This person will strategically plan and manage the transportation department. This person must be knowledgeable with importing, exporting, and all modes of domestic freight. All applicants must be able to demonstrate an ability to lead and manage staff and proficiency in standard logistics software.

  • Directs the global transportation strategy for all modes of transportation: Air, Parcel, Ocean, Rail, TL, LTL for multiple facilities.
  • Manages supply chain processes that drive key performance indicators while promoting a customer-focused culture.
  • Coach and develop the team to elevate the knowledge of supply chain management, use of standard tools, processes, data, and analytics to make the best decisions.
  • Use reports and develop compelling analyses to support supply chain strategies and business decisions.
  • Proficiency with computers and MS Applications including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint required.
  • TMS / ERP Superuser Experience.
  • Freight Pay & Accounting Experience is a must.
  • Customs Brokerage Experience.
  • Fleet Management.
  • Carrier Claims.
  • Annual RFQ / RFP’s.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required. We would prefer that this person have a bachelor’s in business administration, logistics, or supply chain. We would also prefer that this person have five years or more experience as a Logistics Manager.
